Email notifications
Venvy emails you automatically at key moments — there is nothing to set up. Every email says what happened and links to the right place in the app.
Account emails
| When you get it | What to do | |
|---|---|---|
| Verify your Venvy account | You registered yourself on the sign-in page | Open the link within 24 hours to activate your account. It works once — if it lapses, register again. |
| You’ve been invited to Venvy | An Admin invited you | Accept the invitation and set a password. The link is single-use and expires after 72 hours. |
| Reset your Venvy password | You chose Forgot password? on the sign-in page | Set a new password within 1 hour. Didn’t request it? Ignore the email. |
| Your Venvy role has changed | An Admin changed your role | Nothing — it applies the next time you use Venvy. Contact an Admin if it seems wrong. |
See Signing in for the full account flows.
Event emails
These go to the user who manages the affected event.
| When you get it | What to do | |
|---|---|---|
| Your event was moved to a new room | A higher-priority booking took your room, and Venvy relocated your event automatically | Nothing — the time is unchanged. Follow the link to see the new room. |
| Your event needs a new room | Your event was displaced and no free room fit it | Nothing yet — an Admin will help place it. |
| Override request awaiting approval | Someone requested an override (sent to every Admin) | Review it in the Approvals queue. |
| Your override request was approved | An Admin approved your request | Nothing — your event is confirmed. |
| Your override request was declined | An Admin rejected your request (the reason is included when given) | The event was not booked — adjust the time or room and try again. |
To see how these situations arise, read Relocations and preview and Override requests.

Check spam first. Account links are single-use and expire — request a fresh reset from the sign-in page, or a fresh invitation from an Admin.
