Managing your account

Open your account page from the account menu in the top-right corner (Settings). It has two parts: Profile — the details other people see and the credentials you sign in with — and Settings — how the app looks and reads for you.

Profile

Your photo

Upload a photo (JPEG, PNG, or WebP, up to 2 MB) and it appears wherever you’re shown — the top-right of the navigation, the manager on an event, and the people pickers when someone books a room. Change photo replaces it; Remove clears it. With no photo, you’re shown as your initials on a colour of their own.

Your name

Your first and last name appear on events you manage and anywhere you’re listed. Update them here and save — the change shows across the app right away.

Your password

Enter your current password and a new one. For your security, changing your password signs you out everywhere else — every other device has to sign in again. This device stays signed in.

Your email

Your email is both your sign-in and where Venvy sends notifications, so changing it is deliberately careful:

  1. Enter your current password and the new email address.
  2. Venvy sends a confirmation link to the new address. Your email doesn’t change until you open that link — so a typo can’t lock you out.
  3. Your old address stays active until you confirm, and is notified that a change was requested.

The confirmation link is single-use and expires, and works even if you’re signed out. If it expires, just start the change again.

Settings

These preferences are saved to your account, so they follow you to every device you sign in on.

  • Theme — Light, Dark, or System (which follows your device’s own light/dark setting). This is the only place theme is set; it applies immediately.
  • Default calendar view — which view the calendar opens on (Day, Week, Month, Year, or List). Opening a calendar link that names a specific view still wins for that visit.
  • Time format — 12-hour (3:00 PM) or 24-hour (15:00), applied to every time shown in the app.
  • First day of the week — Sunday or Monday, which sets where the Week, Month, and Year grids begin.

Subscriptions
