Event details
Opening an event
Click or tap any event on the calendar. A details panel opens beside the calendar — on a phone, it slides up from the bottom of the screen. The calendar stays right where it is underneath.
The panel shows:
- The event’s title, with its room color and event type icon
- Its status (confirmed or pending)
- When — start and end, in the venue’s local timezone
- Type and Room
- Manager — who is responsible for the event
- Teams and description, when the event has them
Open full page
The Open full page link at the top of the panel takes you to the event’s own page — the same details with their own address, handy for bookmarking or sharing a link with someone.
Editing, deleting, and withdrawing
What actions you see depends on who you are:
- Admins see Edit event and Delete on any confirmed event.
- Managers see them on confirmed events they manage.
- Anyone can withdraw their own pending request straight from the panel.
See Editing and deleting events for how those actions work. If you see no buttons, the event isn’t yours to change — the panel is read-only for everyone else.
Show on My Events (managers)
On an event you manage, the panel includes a Show on My Events checkbox, on by default. Unchecking it keeps that event off your My Events — the calendar scope, your Home agenda, and your subscription — without affecting anyone else’s view. Check it again to bring it back.
Closing the panel
Close with the X button, the Escape key, or by clicking anywhere outside the panel. You return exactly where you were: same view, same date, same filters, same scroll position.
