Getting around

The navigation

The sidebar is your map. Everyone sees:

• Home — your landing page (see below).
• Calendar — every event, in several views you can narrow with filters. Select an event to see its details.
• Rooms — the venue’s rooms and room types.
• Teams — the teams at your venue and who’s on them.

Admins also see an Admin section with Event types, Users, Approvals, and Audit log — event types, user management, the approvals queue, and the audit log.

The Home page

Home shows who you’re signed in as and your role. If you’re an Admin or Manager, a Pending Items panel appears whenever something needs attention:

• Override requests awaiting approval — Admins see every pending request and can jump to the approvals queue; Managers see their own and can withdraw them.
• Events needing a room — events displaced without a new home; open one to place it.

Admins see all pending items; Managers see only their own. A count badge on the sidebar marks where action is waiting. Members won’t see this panel.

Reserving a room

Admins and Managers have a Reserve Room button at the top of every page — it opens the reservation form right over your current page. See Reserve an event. Members don’t have this button; they take part in events that Managers and Admins create.
